A Birthday To Wonder...

Birthday signifies a person's arrival to this world of humankind. It is the start of life, a long path of destiny. Some believe that the date and time of one's arrival is fixed and the life has also been fixed since the day popping out of the mother's womb.

Many of us in this world has the same birthday even though we stand on different parts of the world. Is it true that having the same birthday will somehow have simliar character traits under the stars of astrology? Maybe there are some truth in it, after years of observation...

Living in this world, the best holiday one could celebrate is his/her birthday. It is a celebration for oneself and usually spent with love ones around. For those who spent it alone, what sort of feeling does he/she feels? The likely answer to it would be: just another day of his/her normal life lor...

For those people out there who share the same sentiments as above, perhaps there are ways to alleviate your mood? Yes, one would be --- doing something that you always yearn to do, yet you have not done it yet. When that happens, your birthday will spruce up more brightly. Though loneliness hurts, you still have a choice to make it YOUR DAY! And so, it will become part of your memories and stay with "the little dream" in YOU.

Some Thoughts About Love...

Love

I let it stand by its own. It is so pure, so alone, so outstanding, so special yet nothing seems best to describe it. It is just what it is - LOVE.

Online, you find people writing bombastic description of LOVE, words that say sacrifices, wonders, happiness and sorrows. Type "love" in GOOGLE, you find other types of "love" in there, personality tests, love poems, even a love calculator! But so, have you ever wondered what truly love is, and are you sure you are truly in love?

To me, love is forever so profound. I used to think that I have learnt alot about LOVE, but yet time triggered off new perspectives, making me realise there are more to LOVE.

Like and love are so similar and yet so different. When one yearns for another person, do you call that love? Or is it like?

There are many tests all over the place, trying to differentiate love from like. Some say when you love someone, you are willing to give up alot of things for the other partner. Some say that when you start doing things which no logic could explain, you are in love. Eventually, everything is explained by one naive phrase --- "blinded by love". But is it truly love? Step back, THINK!

Ask yourself, is your "love" based and built upon the environment that stirs you? Is it because your friends kept teasing you, kept "encouraging" you, or is it the one you "love" now possess the ideal traits you always wish for? Or you simply believe - "When you love someone, there are no reasons to it?"

You want to know if you really LOVED?

ONLY your "little dream" knows. She always knows. She always knows what is the best for you. Every time you change your mind, she always stands by you. Everytime you find your excuses, she always supports you. Everytime you lost yourself, she finds you (though sometimes it takes really a long time). It is only her, you know you can find the answer.

She will tell you, if you really loved, trust her and nothing else...

(A Love subjected to external conditions is not love. Love comes deep from inner self and you can only verify it with your "little dream")

A Little Dream...

Guess what! i contradicted myself!

I always tell people around me that blogging is a complete waste of time, yet here I am, "wasting time"! It must be a surprise what sparked me off in creating this "masterpiece"... i suppose it must be extreme boredom. Haha.

Maybe I should elaborate more on why I chose this name for my blog (esp when it sounds so girlish). Hmm, perhaps everyone always have something to say about themselves, no matter how big how small, how stupid how intelligent, there is always another part of oneself, always out there to guide you, talk to you, any time, anywhere --- and that's where one discovers the "little dream" (the true inner self; instinct).

"Little dream" has always been there, only if you want to acknowledge her presence. I let her out, for once, in here.

Let's hope this can be a little haven for the "little dream" to speak her mind.

(By the way, I am a guy! "Little dream" is a metaphoric description to one's inner self)
